Replacing the RGB Keypad <click me>
The previous model, RGB Keypad (ECL-47-KIT), is no longer available.
All installations are now using a new (ECL-49-KIT) version.
The user operation of the two versions is the same, but the wiring is not.
The multicondutor cable used for the ECL-47-00 keypad is now replaced by a CAT-5e cable that plugs into the ECL-49-00 keypad.
Replacing the RGB Driver Board <click me>
In the field, the ECL-42-01/-02 RGB Driver box is secured to the wall by cables and conduits.
When a replacement circuit board is needed, we send out a kit of a circuit board, heatsink, and instructions.
The only difference between a ECL-42-01 (old) and a ECL-42-02 (new) is the setting of small switches on the board.
What determines the setting of the switches is the RGB Keypad in use (see Replacing the RGB Keypad above).

Using the RGB Line Tester <click me>
The RGB Line Tester was created to exercise the RGB control lines going through the signal filters and out to Cove or Color Changing Troffers.
The device runs off a standard 9VDC battery for safe testing at a new, or damaged installation.
The keypad and ECL-42-01/02 Driver box are not nessesary while using this tester.
The tester will continuously sequence through the colors, and can even drive into a shorted RGB control line without damage.
